October 10 and 11 2009

Are you interested in joining the artist studio tour this year? The tour is scheduled for October 10 and 11, Saturday and Sunday, 10 to 4 PM. Artists and crafts people with a studio for tour goers and buying public to visit and meet you and see your work in progress are encouraged to contact Susan Hazard, Tour Chair, at mz.hazard@gmail.com or telephone (360) 379-0859 for more information.  Susan’s address is 60 Vancouver Lane, Port Townsend, WA 98368-9675.

Digital Images

This year, we are accepting digital images for both the studio tour artists and for the juried show.  Please help by carefully following the criteria for submitting electronic files:

Digital images may be mailed on CD or sent as an e mail attachment to images@artporttownsend.org. In either case, send high quality jpeg images, 1024 pixels along the longer dimension. Use no more than 72-96 dots/inch resolution. File name must be in the following format:
lastnamefirstinitial_title.jpg              (Mac users must add .jpg extension.)

example: smithj_snowstorm.jpg

Printed images are also acceptable, of course.

September 12 - Notifications mailed

September 27-28 - Delivery of work

October 2 - Exhibition opens

October 2 - Awards ceremony and reception

October 3 - Jess Van Nostrand Lecture

October 10-11 - Artist studio tour

October 29 - Poets reaction to the Juried Show

November 1 - Exhibition closes

November 1 and 2 - Pick up art work

Open 12 pm - 5 pm; Northwind Arts Center is closed Tuesday and Wednesday
