Demonstration:
“A working weaving and dying studio full of textiles at all stages of production, along with the tools to make them. The looms will be warped (you may weave on one if you’d like to try it). The studio is full of the clothing that I make, as well as vintage kimonos and Indian bandhani.”

Directions to studio:
From Aldirch’s: East on Lawrence 1 block to Taylor. Left (north) on Taylor all the way up the hill to Sather Park and Cosgrove Street. Left (west) on Cosgrove, which turns and becomes Tyler. 1 block to Tyler and Foster. Park on Foster (no turnaround on Tyler), walk up ½ block to 1656 on right.

Artist statement:
I weave and dye textiles, mixing weave structures, playing with color. Most of my work takes the form of clothing. I do each part of the process myself, from daydreaming the design to sewing on a label. I dye, I weave, I wash, I sew. My jackets, sweaters, scarves and shawls are one of a kind, hand made one at a time. Each is designed to bring comfort and beauty into everyday life, to give pleasure for many years.”

Studio also open during the remainder of the year
