Demonstration:
“Expect a visual feast - with cookies! We will open our studio and home to visitors to learn about and enjoy a variety of original oil paintings. The paintings will be on display in our home and in the studio. Also, weather permitting, we will display paintings outside on the deck and in the gardens. I will be on site to talk about the paintings: both the process and the passion that I feel for each piece. I will also have a painting in process in the studio for demonstration and discussion purposes. Chris, my wife and best critic, will host the event. We look forward to our first Studio Tour!”

Directions to studio:
From Jefferson County Fairgrounds proceed south on Jackman St. (along the West edge of the Fairgrounds), Then go right on 45th St., left on Erin St., right on 43rd St., left on Gise St. to 41st St. We are the shingled house on the SW corner of 41st and Gise.

Artist statement:
“I Love to Paint! It has become a passion in my life. This passion is fueled by my love of life, the visuals of nature with her varying moods, and the challenge of “figuring it out” as I learn. With each painting I strive to express this passion, reflect the joy I feel while applying paint to canvas, and finally, produce a painting that evokes a pleasant response.”
