Artist Statement:
I have been painting since 1995, mostly in pastel, now oils and an occasional watercolor. I love saturated color. This series on Stone Goddesses came out of my doctoral work with megalithic stones and the 6,000 year Bretagne (northwestern France) history of women’s spirituality. Otherwise, I paint flowers, landscapes, and anything that tickles my fancy: just finished a small pastel of a turquoise Indian motorcycle! I am also a psychotherapist in private practice and I write non-fiction books and poetry.
