Artist statement:
I weave and dye textiles, mixing weave structures, playing with color. Most of my work takes the form of clothing. I do each part of the process myself, from daydreaming the design to sewing on a label. I dye, I weave, I wash, I sew. My jackets, sweaters, scarves and shawls are one of a kind, hand made one at a time. Each is designed to bring comfort and beauty into everyday life, to give pleasure for many years.
