Artist Statement:
Art is a window into the soul of the artist. It is also a window through which the viewer can feel the breezes of their own longings and dreams. I love to create paintings I can ‘climb into’ and explore.
Connoisseur has called Richard Jesse Watson’s art “breathtaking”, New York Times, “Enchanting and inspiring…” and LA Times said the award-winning artist’s technique “echoes the realism of Dürer.”
