Directions:

Elizabeth Blake, Tin Can Studio, 128 Woodland Avenue, Port Townsend is located just off San Juan Avenue, 2 blocks north of Discovery Road-F Street intersection.

Heading north on San Juan, take a left on Woodland Avenue.

It is the second house on the right side of the road. There is lots of parking in the driveway and on the street.

The studio is located in the metal building next to the house. Walk through the big gate on the right of the building, and the door is just inside the courtyard.

Artist Statement:

“Elizabeth Blake is an illustrator and artist. She is studying illustration in an online MFA program of the Academy of Art, SF. She has loved creating art since finger-painting as a small child. Her style has evolved some since then, but the joy remains the same.

When illustrating she uses mixed media, including watercolor, gouache, ink, and pencil, or whatever works for a particular project. Her fine art is usually done in oils or watercolor.

Tin Can Studio is where she can often be found, messing around with paint, and having a few “brushes with life.” Coincidentally, “Brushes with Life” is also the name of her blog.”
