Jewelry

Demonstration:

Visitors to our studio will see some of the fabrication techniques that are used to create our jewelry: hand sawing of the designs and patterns. Walk through the steps of soldering, sanding, polishing and some stone setting, with the finished products displayed.

Directions to studio:

321 Chimacum-Hadlock Road is one mile north of intersection of Rhody Drive. One-quarter mile south of intersection of Hwy. 116 at Port Hadlock. Located on east side of road between the United Methodist Church and Mountain Propane.

Artist statement:

When I first began making jewelry I was intrigued by the petroglyphs and pictographs of the southwest, Celtic metal work and the ancient goddess figurines of Greece. My work is a combination of these with dancing goddess figures and totemic images with the use of fine saw lines. Now the parks and beaches where I live have crept into my work in the way of more songbirds, evergreen trees, cattails, wading birds, and water texture.

Studio open during remainder of the year by appointment
