Encaustic painting
Demonstration:
I will be demonstrating encaustic painting techniques.
Directions to studio:
Take Discovery Rd. west 2 miles; turn right on Cape George Wye and take an immediate left on Fortuna Rd.; go 1/2 mile and turn right on Thunder Rd.: go to end of road to 495 Thunder Rd.
Artist statement:
My art is a response to nature: the rough texture of a rock, the sight of buds breaking in the spring, the rush of water moving down a stream bed after a winter rain. These are some of the things that punctuate my existence. Without them I would just be a run-on sentence.
