Demonstration:
I will demonstrate weaving, spinning, felting and talk about dyeing and metal smithing.
Directions to studio:
From Hwy. 20, turn right on Jacob Miller Road. Turn right at the second stop sign onto Hastings. Turn left at the first road onto Cook. Turn left on the first road, Elmira. The studio is at the first house on the right: 4250 Elmira Street. Parking is available in the turnout on the right, past the driveway.
Artist statement:
I have been making art for over 20 years. Although my focus has changes over time, I continue to be drawn to wearable art. At present this is manifesting itself through felting, weaving, spinning, dyeing & metal smithing. At the studio tour I will not only be demonstrating but will have Pygora goats in residence.
Studio is not open during the remainder of the year, but work can be seen at the Mad Hatter & Co or Port Townsend Gallery in downtown Port Townsend.
