Demonstration:

“Come into our studio and visit with us about the what, and why of our work in clay. Darby will be demonstrating throwing on the potter’s wheel, and Phoebe will be demonstrating sculpting. See the studio equipment in action and have a go at it yourself if you desire.”

Directions:

The studio is across the street from the Palace Hotel in downtown Port Townsend in the “Flagship Landing” building.

Artist Statement:

Phoebe sculpts to bring forth the underlying essence of what she sees and feels in her world around her. Darby throws pots to bring forth vessels of centered beauty for the world to use. We have chosen to work in rich red clay that needs no glaze when fired to its full maturity. The inherent beauty of the clay and the work of our hands are showcased this way. All of our pieces are frost-proof in the garden; and dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe in the home. Our ware is designed for the rigors of daily life, providing satisfaction for all the senses.

Studio is open during the remainder of the year.
