Sylvia White work features recycled and human made materials, such as metal, plastic wire, paper, aluminum cans and strapping tape. Her studio is unusual in that it is festooned with a variety of natural and recycled materials. During the Studio Tour Sylvia will discuss the kinds of found materials that can be used for fiber sculptures, baskets and wall hangings. She will demonstrate weaving and fiber techniques that create her unique pieces of art. Sylvia has taught basketry in Washington, South California and Illinois.

Take Highway 20 south out of Port Townsend to Four Corners. Turn right onto Discovery Bay Road.  Go 1 mile and turn right onto Olympic Blvd.  Go 1 block and turn right on Vancouver Land and then right again onto Bayview Lane. Signs will direct to the studio.
