Pottery is my passion. Making it is a way of life. Early on, this led me to an apprenticeship with master potters from New York City, then to joining a very active pottery co-op, going to national ceramic conferences and learning so much from some amazing teachers.
All this has come together, twenty some years later, with the current studio/gallery on the Olympic Peninsula. It is beautiful, and provides a space to create distinctive pottery that enhances lives.
Strong stoneware clays (light and dark colors) are used to make each piece. Once formed, they are taken to another level by carving, pressing, sculpting, drawing or painting the surface. Then, colors and tasteful glazes are applied and fired. The result: outstanding pottery of lasting enjoyment for life.
Studio is open during the remainder of the year.
