We will be demonstrating clay wheel throwing and hand sculpting. Our workshop room will be set up for you to experiment in clay sculpting.
Our studio is located south of the Thomas St. and W. Sims Way roundabout, behind the Habitat for Humanity Restore. On the SW corner of Thomas St. and 4th St.
We believe everyday ware should be beautiful and practical. Each piece is intended to be used and touched. We draw inspiration from the many natural elements that are part of our daily lives, from forest to sea. It is important to us that all of our items are individually thrown or sculpted, without the use of any molds. We call our pottery “naked” because we leave the clay unglazed, allowing for a direct connection with the tactile earthiness of the rich, red clay. This connection to the earth is very dear to our hearts and our process. Our small crew takes the time to imbue each piece with artistic intention and life.
