Diana will demonstrate how pots are thrown on the potter's wheel and she will also demonstrate her glazing technique.

Statement

Diana Cronin has been making pottery for 8 years. She took many art classes in her youth before winning a scholarship to Interlochen Arts Academy. She went on to receive her BS degree in Ocean Engineering and finds ceramics to be the perfect blend of art and science. Since then she has taken many workshops at the Archie Bray Foundation.

Diana forms each piece on the potter’s wheel sometimes altering the shape to give it more character. She works mainly in porcelain and brushes on layers of glaze always striving for the most vibrant colors. Her pieces are fun, funky and durable. They're meant to be used everyday and to bring joy to your table.

Directions

From Pt Townsend take Hwy 19 south until you come to the 4 way stop and flashing light in Chimacum. Turn right onto Center Road and drive 4.5 miles to Egg & I Road where you will turn left. Go 1/2 mile on Egg & I Road. We are the first driveway on the left after you pass Egg & I Ridge Road.
