Statement

I create both contemporary sculptures and oil paintings. My plein air paintings are primarily landscapes and still lifes and are painted in a highly expressive, colorful, and strong manner.  My sculptures range in size from tabletop to life size, are both indoor and outdoor, and often kinetic.  My materials range from wood and steel, to clay, to bronze, and stainless steel.  Some are figurative abstract, others whimsical.  I like to play with scale.
