My painting process using palette knives with oil paint will be demonstrated. I will have full access available to a working artist studio, and will be demonstrating my painting technique.

Statement

Life is color, and my paintings are full of life! Gardens in full bloom, landscapes basking in sun, monumental cloud formations gracing water and land, all painted with palette knife technique in oils. The thickly physical marks of painting, or palette, knives and vibrant, high contrast colors illustrate an energetic and lively impression of life. All of my Impressionist style paintings, created in the studio and plein air, provide the viewer a colorful world bursting with life.

Directions

North on S.R. 20 towards Port Townsend : Turn left onto Discovery Road, turn right on Olympic Boulevard (Discovery Bay Heights). Turn right onto Vancouver Lane. Second house on right, clearly marked.

From Port Townsend: Turn onto Discovery Road south, past Chevy Chase (now Discovery Bay) Golf Course, follow road to Olympic Boulevard, turn left onto Olympic. Turn right on Vancouver Lane. Second house on right, clearly marked.
