Statement
I was born and raised in Southern
California where I was brought up playing with clay in my
Mother’s ceramic studio. My Father made molds for my mother and I got to
learn about clay slip, molds and glazes. After high school, I went into
business and didn’t get a chance until the age of 50 to have my own potter’s
wheel and set up a studio.
Currently now in Port Townsend, I own the Wild Womyn Studio, where I teach
wheel throwing classes, hand building to adults and children, and sell my
work at my studio and local retail stores. I am back playing in the clay and
loving it with a passion!
